L'Oréal Paris sought to create a first-of-its-kind virtual pop-up experience for travel retail in APAC, launching exclusively in Hainan in collaboration with China Duty Free Group (CDFG). The objective was to go beyond a mere online store and deliver a unique, immersive, and memorable consumer journey that celebrated the Lunar New Year and showcased L'Oréal Paris's latest innovations.
As UX/UI designer for the Maison L'Oréal Paris virtual pop-up, I played a key role in crafting a seamless and engaging online experience that complemented the offline activation at the Sanya International Duty-Free Shopping Complex. The core of the virtual experience was a journey of discovery and immersing guests in the essence of Parisian beauty.
